Budget Until Payday: Aabot Ba Hanggang Sweldo?

Kapag kulang bago mag-sweldo

Kapag may tira

Frequently asked questions

How do I compute my daily budget until payday?

Take the cash you have now, subtract the bills you must pay before your next sweldo, then divide by the number of days left until payday. Example: ₱12,000 cash, ₱3,000 in bills and 10 days to payday gives ₱900 a day for everything else.

Should bills due on payday itself be counted?

Usually not. A bill due on the same day your sweldo lands can be paid from the new sweldo, so this calculator only subtracts bills due before payday. Overdue bills are counted as due today.

What if the forecast says I will run short?

You will see the date cash runs out and the daily amount that still reaches payday. Cut the extras first (kain sa labas, shopping, gala), move a non-urgent bill to after payday if the biller allows it, and avoid covering the gap with a credit card or online loan, which can cost 3% a month or more.

How much should I keep as a cushion before payday?

A few days of everyday spending is a sensible minimum, so a late sweldo or a surprise expense does not push you into utang. For bigger shocks, build a separate emergency fund of 3 to 6 months of expenses.

When is payday in the Philippines?

Most employers pay twice a month: on the 15th (kinsenas) and on the last day of the month (katapusan). Some pay monthly or weekly. If your payday falls on a weekend or holiday, many companies release it the working day before.

Can PesoPilot track this for me automatically?

Yes. In the free Money Control Center, the Payday Forecast uses your real balances, your bills list and your actual spending from the Gastos Log, and updates every time you log an expense.

Educational tool only — your numbers stay on your device and are not saved. Actual bill amounts and payday dates depend on your billers and employer.
